Birmingham Weekender and International Dance Festival Birmingham are looking for a Communications Intern who will help to deliver these two exciting festivals.

This paid role will provide excellent hands-on learning and experience of communications and marketing in a busy festival environment. It involves assisting our teams in promoting our festivals – and includes creating and editing content for websites, social media and print materials; helping with merchandising; assisting on event management; and working with a wide range of people.

This is an excellent way to build skills, experience and networks that will kick start your career in arts marketing, social media and communications.

This is an ideal job for someone with some knowledge and/or experience of marketing, social media and communications. You must be organised and reliable, with a high standard of literacy, numeracy and IT skills. You will also need great communication skills and a genuine interest in the arts.
